How does pricing work?+
Every quote is itemized — staff cost, captain coordination (when applicable), and platform service fee. The price you see at quote time is the price on your invoice. There are no per-hour overages, no per-person surprise charges, and no hidden gratuity lines. You'll see the full breakdown before paying any deposit.
What's a captain and when do I need one?+
Captains are senior staff who manage your team on-site — they handle setup, monitor break rotations, troubleshoot the unexpected, and sign off the team at the end of the night. Captains are automatically included for any booking with 3 or more staff. For smaller bookings (1-2 staff), no captain is needed.
What's the cancellation policy?+
Free cancellation up to 14 days before your event. From 7-13 days out, you receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Inside 48 hours of the event, the deposit is non-refundable. The full policy is shown during checkout before you pay.
How far in advance should I book?+
2-3 weeks ahead gives you the best selection of staff. We can book as late as 24-48 hours out, but tight-window bookings may carry a surge multiplier on staff pay (always shown in the quote). For weddings and large activations, 4-8 weeks ahead is recommended.
Do you provide alcohol or food?+
No — Opulentt provides the staff to run your event. You (or your venue) supply the alcohol, food, and any specialty equipment. Your captain can give you a recommended shopping list before the event if you'd like.
Are your staff insured?+
Yes. All approved Opulentt staff are covered under our general liability insurance for events. For corporate clients who require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the venue or organizer as additional insured, we provide one with each booking.
